Country risk is JP Morgan's EMBI+ index: it measures, in basis points, how much more it costs Argentina to borrow in dollars compared with the United States (100 points are one percentage point of interest). The data comes from Ámbito and the date is the date of the data.
When it rises, investors demand a higher rate to lend to the country; when it falls, borrowing gets cheaper.
